Join/Renew
By becoming a member of the ISTT, you join an international community of professionals (scientists, technicians and graduate students) with a common interest in animal transgenic technologies.
Rejoin: If you like to rejoin the society after your membership has expired, please sign up as a new member and provide us with your new user name at administration[at]transtechsociety.org. It is not possible to renew your membership once it has expired.

ISTT Membership Dues
ISTT Membership is annually based, from January through December (2025).
$120 USD/year
Individuals who are typically professionals in the field of genome engineering, whether commercial or academic.
$50 USD/year
Individuals typically working in the field of genome engineering under the supervision of another person, and who do not direct or manage the laboratory/service unit. Applicants for Technician status must have an email sent to ISTT from the supervisor confirming that they qualify as a technician member.
$50 USD/YEAR
Individuals who are currently involved in training in the field of genome engineering. Applicants for student membership should have an email from their educational advisor sent to istt[at]transtechsociety.org confirming the enrollment in an educational program.
$0 USD/year
An individual who is now retired and wishes to remain associated with the Society. The initial application accompanied by a letter from a former supervisor or another ISTT member in good standing knowledgeable about the applicant’s work status will be reviewed & validated by the board of directors. Yearly renewal of emeritus membership is required.

Individuals of recognized prestige who may have contributed significantly to animal transgenesis or to the promotion or development of the Society. The Board of Directors shall be responsible for appointing honorary members.
The ISTT will provide discounted membership rates to persons from countries qualified as low or low-middle income, according to the World Bank. Payment will only be accepted by PayPal. Please contact the ISTT Treasurer to register: treasurer@transtechsociety.org.
