About Us

The International Society for Transgenic Technologies (ISTT) was founded in Spain in 2006, and was incorporated in 2013 in the USA. The ISTT currently has more than 600 members who share in our goals of increased communication and technology sharing to enhance scientific research and to advance the field of animal transgenesis.

The ISTT sponsors a series of periodic international meetings known as the Transgenic Technology (TT) Meetings.

The Society's journal of record is Transgenic Research. In addition to meeting reports, the programs and abstracts of the ISTT Transgenic Technology (TT) meetings are published in Transgenic Research.
