ISTT Travel & Presentation Awards — Supporting the Next Generation of Researchers
The International Society for Transgenic Technologies (ISTT) is proud to invest in the future by offering a range of competitive awards designed to recognize and support outstanding trainees and technicians. These awards provide financial assistance, professional recognition, and valuable opportunities to showcase cutting-edge research at the upcoming TT meeting in Leiden.
Travel Awards (up to 3 available)
Travel Award recipients will be selected from abstracts submitted by ISTT technician/trainee members only.
Award includes:
- $1,500 contribution toward meeting expenses (payment will be made immediately after the conference)
- Formal notification sent to the recipient and their supervisor or institutional representative
- Official certificate of award
Oral Presentation Award (1 Available)
This award honours an outstanding oral presentation delivered by a trainee or technician during the meeting.
Award includes:
- $500 cash prize
- Certificate of recognition
Poster Awards (5 Available)
Poster Awards recognize excellence in research presented by trainee or technician first authors.
Award includes:
- $250 cash prize
- Certificate of recognition
Eligibility Criteria
For Travel Awards, applicants must:
- Be a current ISTT technician/trainee member
- Not have received a travel award within the past 5 years
- Be willing and able to deliver an oral presentation based on their submitted abstract at the associated TT meeting
For Oral and Poster Awards, applicants must:
- Be a current ISTT technician/trainee member
- Not have received an award for the same research at the previous meeting
