CRISPR-seq: High-depth coverage, amplification-free validation for Every Edit

Induced mutations can be challenging to characterize with PCR-based methods. CRISPR-seq uses paired CRISPR/Cas9 digests to enrich a targeted region, which is then sequenced using the PacBio platform.•CRISPR-seq is performed on genomic DNA without PCR amplification.•PacBio’s PureTarget system provides high-coverage, detailed sequence and epigenetic info for any target region.•Automated bioinformatics processes provide fast, easy-to-read analysis. •Up to 96 samples in a single run results in highly cost-effective validation. This workshop will discuss technical and practical aspects of implementing CRISPR-seq for validating genetically engineered animal models.

Presenter: Dr. Zach Freeman, Director of the Transgenic Animal Model Core and Co Director of the NIH funded National Center of Rabbit Models for Translational Research
