The fee for registered participants includes:
• Attendance at the scientific sessions
• Poster Viewing Reception with Wine, Beer and Cheese
• Lunches on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
• Morning and Afternoon refreshment breaks
• Attendance at the Meeting Banquet on October 25, 2011 - option must be selected when registering.

Payment of Registration Fees
If possible the preferred method of payment is by card using our online facility. We accept the following Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard and Delta, unfortunately we are unable to accept American Express, Switch, Solo or Maestro cards. If you are unable to pay online you can select to be invoiced, an invoice will be sent to you within 5 working days upon receipt of your registration. We would be grateful if this invoice can be paid within 28 days from the date of issue.
Terms and Conditions of Registration
Before proceeding with your registration, please read the following terms and conditions carefully:
Notifications of cancellations should be made in writing and sent to the conference organisers
(In Conference Ltd at tt2011@in-conference.org.uk). Substitutions can be made at any time. If you have been invoiced but not paid the fees, you are still liable to pay the cancellation charges below:
Up to and including August 12, 2011
Registration fee will be refunded less $65 administration fee.
After August 12, 2011
No refunds on registration fees will be made.
No shows will not be refunded.
ISTT Registration Awards
Registration Awards
A minimum of six registration awards for ISTT members will be sponsored by the International Society for Transgenic Technologies. Applications should be sent, along with the registration document to istt@transtechsociety.org by June 30, 2011.
The ISTT will pay the Registration Fee of all applicants selected for an award. However, if they are not selected they would be requested to pay the corresponding fee. Please note the Award covers registration fees and attendance at all social events only and does not cover travel or accommodation expenses.
Award decisions will be communicated by July 16, 2011 and awardees will receive a diploma at
the TT2011 Meeting.
Documents to be Provided by the Applicant
a) Applicant’s CV
b) Letter describing how the applicant will benefit from attendance at the TT meeting
c) Only for technician/students: Letter of support from the applicant’s head/supervisor stating the support to the applicant’s participation in the TT meeting and highlighting why attendance will benefit the applicant’s career
Procedure
Applicants must register first at the corresponding TT Meeting website and select, as a payment method, “application for registration awards”. The ISTT will pay the Registration Fee of all applicants selected for an award. However, if they are not selected they would be kindly requested to pay the corresponding registration fee.
Selection Process
The ISTT Council will examine all applications received. Registration Awards will be selected according to the documents submitted and with preference given to:
1) Student/Technician ISTT Members
2) ISTT Members submitting an abstract for presentation as a poster/short-oral communication at the TT meeting
3) Any other ISTT Member
Decision
Award decisions will be communicated by July 16, 2011 and awardees will receive a diploma at the
Awards ceremony during the TT meeting.
Applicants that are not yet members of the ISTT may choose to register/join first the ISTT and simultaneously submit their travel/registration award application. ISTT Registration/Travel awards for each TT meeting will only be provided to ISTT members who have paid their current annual fees.
IMPORTANT: ENTRY VISA TO US
According to the US Department of Homeland Security regulations, international travellers who are seeking to travel to the United States must have a VISA or obtain an authorization through the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) web site: (https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov) depending on your country of citizenship.
Countries that qualify for VWP through ESTA:
Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Czech Republic Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand Norway, Portugal, Republic of Malta, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom.
ESTA approved applications are valid for a period of 2 years. Citizens from the rest of countries require a valid VISA to travel to the US.
Warnings:
1) Since 2009 there are two fees associated for requesting VWP through ESTA, namely: processing fee and authorization fee. The second fee is only charged if the application is approved. Fees must be paid by credit card: MasterCard, VISA, American Express, and Discover (JCB, Diners Club).
2) Only use the official US Government web site: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov
Be aware that there are fake web sites in internet that might charge money and are not associated with the US Government.
3) A valid address in the US is required for filing the VWP application through ESTA. If your application is primarily related to your participation to the TT2011 meeting, please use the address of the TT2011 venue:
