WS1: HANDS-ON, basic tecniques
The hands-on work shop will concentrate on basic techniques in the generation of genetically modified mice. The number of participants is limited to 20 and 10 instructors will teach embryo collection, pro-nuclear micro injection, injection of ES cells into blastocysts, and embryo transfer.

WS2: Colony Management Database Solutions
The database work shop will give you the opportunity to get an insight into two non-commercial and two commercial solutions on how to keep track of a mouse colony. The different providers will show the performance of their systems by demonstrating how a number of routine tasks are performed and there will be adequate time for discussion. The number of participants is limited to 80.
