How to get to the MDC from Berlin?

The venue site at the MDC is located at the north-eastern city limit.

Transportation between Berlin Hotel Area and MDC will be provided to TT2010 delegates during the meeting with bus shuttles. This service is included in the TT2010 registration fee. Bus shuttles will depart from Berlin Mitte area at a location that will be announced every morning and return to town every afternoon, during the meeting days.

We do not recommend booking one of the few hotel rooms in close proximity to the institute. We rather advise you to take the opportunity to book one of the conference hotels that are available at reduced rates, near the site where the bus shuttles will depart.

In case you decide to not choose your accommodation from our list, please make sure to stay in Berlin Mitte (most centrally located quarter) or north of Mitte, but in any case close to the suburban train (S-Bahn) line S2 (dark green line, running from the center to the north-east, ) that will take you straight to the station Buch. From there Bus Number 351 to “Campus Buch” (bus stop to the left of the train station) will take you right in front of the MDC Conference Center. The trip from the center to the conference center will take you about 40 minutes. Please allow additional time to get to the train station that is serviced by line S2 closest to you.
